To be eligible for Rewards, all sponsorship money, receipt book(s) and completion forms must be received by MS Readathon, prompt delivery of the Rewards is only guaranteed if all items are received by the 30th September 2010.

All Rewards are awarded at the discretion of Multiple Sclerosis Australia. Multiple Sclerosis Australia reserves the right to award a Reward of equivalent value to the one offered.

Rewards are not redeemable for cash.

Individual Rewards may be awarded to non-Australian residents. Multiple Sclerosis Australia reserves the right to charge packaging and postage costs in relation to the delivery of such Rewards.

The National Highest Fundraiser in Australia Reward is open only to Australian residents. The Highest National Fundraiser Reward is open to individuals who are under 18 years of age as at the 1/1/2010. This age restriction may be waived for individuals with an intellectual disability, at the discretion of Multiple Sclerosis Australia.

In 2010, the National Highest Fundraiser Reward is:

• A trip for two adults and two children (or one adult and three children) to Queensland with three nights’ accommodation.
• A visit to Australia Zoo to be a Zoo Keeper for a Day.
• A visit for four people to Dreamworld.

The State and Territory Highest Fundraiser Rewards are open only to Australian residents. The State or Territory Highest Fundraiser Rewards are open to individuals who are under 18 years of age as at 1/1/2010. This age restriction may be waived for individuals with an intellectual disability, at the discretion of Multiple Sclerosis Australia.

In 2010, the State/Territory Highest Fundraiser Rewards are:

• A trip for two people (the State/Territory Highest Fundraiser and accompanying adult) to Canberra with two nights accommodation
• A trip to Parliament House and meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Julia Gillard.*
• A trip to The National Zoo to experience a Zooventure with other State and Territory Highest Fundraisers

*Fundraisers must have achieved more than $3000.00 sponsorship to be eligible

The words "complete" and "completed" are used throughout these terms and conditions.

To complete the 2010 MS Readathon means, in this context, that all sponsorship money, receipt book(s) and completion forms are received by MS Readathon before the 30th September. Although our official money due date is September 30th, we have plenty of people who complete and return their sponsorship money in after this date. Please be assured that you will still receive your Rewards, even if you submit money after this date. (NB: The due date of September 30th is the cut-off date for State and National Highest Fundraiser awards and state incentive draws). Rewards are redeemable after this date but Multiple Sclerosis Australia does not guarantee prompt fulfilment.

Individual Award Level Rewards

• Individual Rewards Levels are defined as those Rewards that are awarded according to the sponsorship money raised. For the 2010 MS Readathon the following 9 levels apply to the term “completion”: $30 to $59.99, $60 to $109.99, $110 to $249.99, $250 to $499.99, $500 to $999.99, $1000 to $1999.99, $2000 to $2999.99, $3000 to $4999.99 and $5000 and above.
• The Rewards awarded for the above nine levels are outlined on this website on the Rewards page, and the 2010 Registration pack.
• Individual Rewards are awarded to all participants who complete the MS Readathon subject to a minimum, and total amounts raised.
• Donations below the stipulated first level are recognised with an e-certificate but for competitions are not deemed to have “completed” the program.
• Sponsorship money or a donation given by an adult to another MS Readathon participant will be included as sponsorship money raised by that participant only and will not also be included as sponsorship money raised by that adult.
• Multiple Sclerosis Australia reserves the right to substitute an item of equal value in lieu of any Rewards at the sole discretion of Multiple Sclerosis Australia.
• Rewards and certificates will be sent directly to the address of the completing participant. Rewards will be sent promptly in response to money and forms being received by the end of September . MS Australia gives no guarantees regarding the timing of the delivery of Rewards after that date.
