Nine-year old local, Cameron Cox has finished the MS Readathon program as the highest fundraiser in the ACT and surrounding regions. Cameron read 23 books during the month of June, collecting $16,097.95 in sponsorship. When asked what motivated him to raise funds for the MS Readathon, Cameron said, “to help the MS Society raise money to help people” Cameron raised his money by donating his pocket money, asking family and friends and by selling off some of his old stuff”. He enjoys reading new books and Zac Power is his favourite book. During his time with the MS Readathon, Cameron has raised a total of over $31,000.00 which is a fabulous achievement.
