The I Can Read® system has been developed from over 20 years of research by registered Australian psychologists and has helped over 50,000 students acquire literacy skills to date. Programs include phonology and pre-reading skills, learning to read and advanced literacy skills (creative writing, grammar, punctuation, comprehension and public speaking). All teachers are fully qualified and assessments are free. With seven centres in NSW, I Can Read provides a cost-effective program to suit all levels of primary school literacy.

In support of the MS Readathon, I Can Read provides 6 reading scholarships to children in and around the Sydney area who can travel to a local ‘I Can Read’ centre. Each scholarship is worth over $1,000! I Can Read also provides valuable website content for the MS Readathon website, including tips on the benefits of reading and parental involvement.
