April-May - School visits by MS Readathon and student registration
June 1-June 30 - MS Readathon reading time
August 30th - The last date that Sponsorship Money needs to be back to us. Although our official money due date is August 30th, we have plenty of people who do the MS Readathon later, and send their money in after this date. Please be assured that you will still receive your Rewards, even if you submit money after this date. (NB: The due date of August 30th is the cut-off date for State and National Highest Fundraiser awards and state incentive draws.)

Registering online is the quickest and easiest way to join up to help us out.
We'll quickly send you an MS Readathon Starter's Pack in the mail.
To enter online, you will need mum or dad to make a small credit card payment of $5 which becomes your first sponsorship money raised.
Every kid who enters online goes in a draw to win a lap top computer!
To enter by mail you just fill in an entry form (get mum or dad to sign it!) that you can get at school, your Public Library, or from the 'Sun Herald' or the 'Age' Newspapers.
If you did the MS Readathon last year we might have already sent you an entry form. Otherwise you can download an entry form on this website if mum or dad says it’s ok.
Mail your entry form to: National Processing Centre GPO Box 4654, Melbourne VIC 3001 and we will send you your MS Readathon Starter's Pack.

First we ask that you think about when you sent us your entry form.
It can take up to 4 weeks from the time you register online, or mail in your entry form to us, until your Starters Pack will arrive.
If you registered recently and want to get started before your Starters Pack arrives, you can download the forms you need off the website.
If you mailed us your entry or joined online a long time ago, then you can call your local MS Readathon office to see if we have you registered.
You can always start your reading on June 1 with everyone else even if you haven’t got your Starters Pack. Just keep a record of what you’ve been reading until it arrives.

If you have participated in the MS Readathon before, you may like to try and raise more than last time. If you have never participated in MS Readathon before, have a good look at all the cool Reading Rewards to see which is the highest Reward you want to aim for.
Remember, the more sponsorship money you raise, the more Rewards you will earn because you also receive the ones from all the categories below highest level you get to!

Parents and brothers or sisters are welcome to be part of the MS Readathon the same way you are. Just get them to enter in the same way you have. Either registering online or entering by mail.

Sometimes kids don’t always get to finish the MS Readathon, and that is ok.
We ask that any receipt books be returned to us and, where possible, a donation be made to the MS Readathon. This can be done right now online or by mail.
It might also be good to call your local MS Readathon office on 1300 677 323 and let them know so we don’t keep sending you mail.
We hope you can have a go again in 2008!

A lot of people this year haven’t registered for the MS Readathon and we have set up processes so you can still complete and earn all the Rewards for your efforts. Every dollar raised will make a difference to MS Australia so please make the effort to return forms and sponsorship money.

2. You can download a payment form from the ‘Download Forms’ section, fill it in and send it with your payments and the registration form that is in the back of the booklet you used to do the MS Readathon this year.
