Improving students reading skills through fun, educational classroom activities plays an important role in the success of MS Readathon.

All school reading time counts towards participant’s sponsorship fundraising to help change the lives of people living with MS. It provides the kids with a greater opportunity to earn reading rewards, and ultimately encourages them to complete the program.

It also provides an opportunity for your school to earn an MS Readathon Franklin Electronic School Rewards incentive.

Below are some reading related activities that you may like to incorporate into your current classroom program:

Billy Bilby Activities

From the publishers of two wonderful new children’s books about the Easter bilby and his native Australian animal friends. These fun, educational Billy Bilby activities were created exclusively for MS Readathon participants.

Book reviews

Have your students write a review about books their favourite books.

MS Activity and Quiz

Children learn about MS and then read along as Bosko tells them about a fun activity. They can then test their knowledge in the MS Challenger Quiz

Fun with Bosko

Kids can read about our mascot, visit his favourite reading websites, and try Bosko’s Headscratcher Quiz.

Reader’s Club

Encourage your students to join our exciting online book club to hear about new stories and books to read, share thoughts on books they have been reading and win awards.
