The MS Readathon aims to provide participating students with a fun, educational and rewarding reason to improve their reading skills. Reading material may be part of, or in addition to, their current classroom and extra-curricular reading activities. What Students May Read – To benefit children of all literacy levels, the MS Readathon rewards time spent reading books, magazines, newspapers and websites, rather than just the number of books completed. Both count towards your student’s sponsorship efforts and reading rewards. Ultimate Story – The chance for students to write a published story with some of Australia’s leading children’s authors. The Premier's Reading Challenge - A program held in each state aiming to encourage in students in years Kindergarten to Year 9 to read for leisure and pleasure. |
