Thank you to all of this year’s Western Australian participants, who have worked so hard to collect their sponsorship money after reading more than 25,000 books during the month of June.
Remember, even if you haven’t completed all of your paperwork yet, it’s still not too late to return your funds and earn fantastic rewards.
Bosko and I have been keeping really busy, trying to visit as many of our top fundraising individuals and schools as possible. A recent trip to Falcon Primary School resulted in my big yellow friend being completely mobbed by pre-schoolers. They may be small, but they’re very powerful as a group! But Bosko loves meeting kids, especially those who like to read as much as he does.
Even as the MS Readathon wraps up for another year, Bosko won’t be going into hibernation---he’ll still be coming out to meet lots of kids whenever he can, so keep an eye on his diary!
I hope you’re all enjoying playing with your rewards and that you’re looking forward to beating your own reading and fundraising record for next year—which will be our big 30th birthday!
Happy reading! Jasmyn and Bosko
