Congratulations go to all those that took part and read in the 2016 MS Readathon. The dollars and cents have been counted and the winners are:
Huge congratulations to Martin Rossleigh and the students of Sydney Grammar School Edgecliff Preparatory School, for yet again taking out first place. Raising almost $30,000 this year, means in the past 37 years, the school has raised over $515,000 for people living with MS!! What an incredible achievement! To acknowledge this incredible achievement, the school will receive a visit from a Harper Collins author and each of the 96 participating students will each receive a medallion.
Lumen Christi Catholic Primary School in Victoria, was the highest fundraising school in Victoria and second nationally. In recognition they will also receive a visit from a Harper Collins author.
Moriah College in NSW raised a whopping $8481.00 and will receive a Harper Collins Book pack to the value of $250 as a thank you.
Nine year old Makaira Muscat from Victoria has again taken out the title of National Highest Fundraiser, raising a staggering $8,113.00.
Not far behind was Tashi Dunkel from NSW who raised $7,863.00. And the third position came Noah Blumberg also from NSW raising $2,871.00.
One hundred amazing students reached for the stars and were successful. Each of the following students were in our top 100 and as a thankyou for their community spirit and dedication to helping others, will receive their very own digital tablet.
