Arlo and Jordan's first MS readathon
Everyday, Arlo and I read together. Arlo's love for stories and reading have grown with her since being read to as a baby. Library visits, op shop visits, birthday books, chance encounters in any shop with books and even digital books and audiobooks are allowing Arlo's interest to grow bigger in the lead up to prep next year. And because there's never enough books in the evening, we've been needing a perfect excuse to read "one more book" or "one more chapter".
This August, Arlo and I are going on an epic journey of discovery for one incredible cause. We'll be reading as many books as we can (not including audiobooks in our list because we listen to so many it’d be too easy) in August to raise funds for families living with MS and neurological conditions.
Money raised from the MS Readathon will help fund vital support and services, which include Help Lines available across Australia, MS Nursing, in-home care, speech therapy and physio, Family Fun Days including resources for kids.
