Readathon Rescue
Jasmine, Evie and Theo weren’t just my step kids, they were the Reading Rescue Team!
One rainy afternoon, they got a message from a flying book "MS Readathon Heroes Needed! The Land of Lost Stories is fading. Only readers can save it!"
Without a second thought, they grabbed their favourite books and jumped into the pages.
Each time they finished a story, colour returned to the Land! Red from a dragon book, blue from an ocean tale and green from a jungle adventure.
They read together, they read aloud and they read with heart.
And guess what? They not only saved the stories, they helped raise money for people living with MS!
Back home, they high-fived and smiled. Reading didn’t just take them on an adventure it made them heroes.
