My Story
This August I'm going on an epic journey of discovery for one incredible cause. I'm reading as many books as I can to Harper in August to raise funds for families living with MS and neurological conditions.
As many of you know, my Mum was diagnosed with MS many years ago and despite her being the warrior that she is, it takes its toll on her body - not that she would ever complain or take the ‘easy road’. Mum’s condition is manageable and of the people diagnosed with MS, she is one of the lucky ones - fortunate to be able to have access to medication and still have the energy and movement to chase after her sassy granddaughter.
Money raised from the MS Readathon will help fund vital support and services, which include Help Lines available across Australia, MS Nursing, in-home care, speech therapy and physio, Family Fun Days including resources for kids.
