Harper’s Epic Reading Adventure
Once upon a time, there was a brave little explorer named Harper. She wasn’t exploring forests or climbing mountains (well, not today)… she was about to set off on an adventure even more powerful, an adventure inside the pages of books.
You see, every time Harper opened a book, it was like stepping through a magic door. Some books led to castles full of curious cats, others took her to beaches with talking dolphins, and sometimes… the words were tricky, and Harper wanted to shut the book. But she was no ordinary explorer. Harper was determined, clever, and had a heart as big as the sky.
This August, Harper decided to go on her most epic journey yet, the MS Readathon Adventure, where every book she read helped raise money for families living with MS and other neurological conditions like MND, which is what Harper’s beautiful Nanny had.
Nanny always believed in Harper and every page Harper turns is a little reminder that Nanny is still cheering her on.
The money she raised would help fund important things, like nurses to care for people, fun days for families, and even speech and physio to help people feel stronger.
And guess what? It didn’t matter if Harper finished big books or small ones, fast or slow, or if she sometimes needed help reading tricky words. Every single word she read made a difference.
Her mission? Read as many books as she could in August. And along the way, she was going to prove that readers are real-life heroes, even the ones still learning.
So she packed her backpack with courage, kindness, and curiosity… and off she went, one story at a time.
Because when you’re helping others, even small steps (or small pages) turn into BIG adventures. And Harper knows her Nanny would be so proud
Join me on my MS Readathon journey!
This August, I’m reading as many books as I can to raise money for families living with MS and neurological conditions. Your donation helps fund services like MS Nurses, Help Lines, in-home care, physio, and Family Fun Days.
Thank you for supporting my adventure. Together, we can change lives… one page at a time!
