Hi! I’m Medina and I’m almost 5 years old!

I’m so excited to be part of the MS Readathon this year! I’m just starting to learn how to read sometimes I sound out words all by myself, and sometimes I get a little help but every day I’m learning and growing.

When my mum told me that by reading books I could actually help people, my heart felt really happy. My mum and dad have always taught me to help others whether it's someone struggling with their health or someone less fortunate than us. 

I go to Froggy Tuition, where I’m learning to read with amazing support and one of the most important parts of our learning is sadaqa (charity). Giving, helping, and making a difference is something I’ve been learning from home and school. 

I love books and and now I get to do it for a beautiful cause so I’m reading as many books as I can to help raise money for families who are living with multiple sclerosis (MS). The money I raise will help send kids to special MS Family Camps, where they can laugh, play, and feel supported when someone in their family has MS.
