My Story
This August I'm raising funds and awareness for families living with MS and neurological conditions.
When I was a kid, doing the MS Readathon was an excuse to badger family and friends of family to sponsor me to read as many books as possible. As an adult, I've seen the devastating effects of this disease. Seeing it cripple families and friends of my own family is heart-breaking. So now, it's less about reading books (which, let's be honest, I'll do anyway). Now it's more about raising funds to help families going through this.
Money raised from the MS Readathon will help fund vital support and services, which include Help Lines available across Australia, MS Nursing, in-home care, speech therapy and physio, Family Fun Days including resources for kids.
