This August, I am participating in the MS Readathon. Although I hadn’t really heard of MS before deciding to join and have never seen how it impacts people for myself, I thought that reading a few books for a good cause such as this would be worth doing.  Even if I don’t raise much/anything, one more person is a higher statistic of people reading this year, which could be helpful in other ways.

Plus, I already enjoy reading and have school assignments that require finishing books/completing service hours. I don’t really have a reason not to sign up, especially  when the Readathon aligns with what I’m already doing.

Here’s the default passage explaining where funds will be allocated, thought it made sense to keep it:

Money raised from the MS Readathon will help fund vital support and services, which include Help Lines available across Australia, MS Nursing, in-home care, speech therapy and physio, and Family Fun Days including resources for kids.
