Raising money for MS

We are Stanley and Malachy. Our Granny Ann has MS she was diagnosed in her 40’s and had to retire. Granny Ann was a very active member of society with a busy events calendar and lots of volunteering. Granny Ann is now 78 and has full time care. Granny Ann describes MS as being mentally aware but stuck in a body that’s failing her. Granny Ann says her mind may tell her to pick the cup up but then her muscles will drop it and it doesn’t matter if it’s hot she maybe burned. MS is also hereditary so our nanny, mummy and us could get it. MS doesn’t just affect the person it affects the family too.

We are reading as many books as we can in August to raise funds for families living with MS and neurological conditions.

Money raised from the MS Readathon will help fund vital support and services, which include Help Lines available across Australia, MS Nursing, in-home care, speech therapy and physio, Family Fun Days including resources for kids.

Thank you for donating to support my MS Readathon adventure.
