Why am I doing this?
Hey!
I was first introduced to MS when I was younger and my mums very good friend Ruth from our church was diagnosed with MS. By the grace of God, helpful research has produced medicines that have preserved her life and function thus far and we are very grateful for that. So when I stumbled upon this opportunity to raise money for this cause whilst doing something I love which is reading, I jumped on board.
I'm hoping to read as many books as I can in August to raise funds for families living with MS and neurological conditions. Money raised from the MS Readathon will help fund vital support and services, which include Help Lines available across Australia, MS Nursing, in-home care, speech therapy and physio, Family Fun Days including resources for kids.
God generously gives us the money we have and entrusts us to steward it well to love Him and love others. There are LOTS of amazing things you can give to, and I hope that maybe this might be something on your heart that you can cheerfully give to ad well.
