Heather’s Epic Reading Adventure
My name is Heather and since 2004, this is the tenth time that I have taken part in the MS Readathon. I learned about it in high school and decided to combine my love of reading with fundraising for a good cause. For the next four years, the MS Readathon was an annual event for me. From 2008 to 2019, I had a hiatus for a variety of reasons and resumed participating annually in 2020.
My goal for 2025 is $500 although that may change if I surpass my target. Last year, I surprised myself by raising $880.29.
The goal is to read 10 books. Apart from fundraising for a great cause, I also like to use this chance to have a break from electronic entertainment and focus more on reading a variety of books.
