Heather’s Epic Reading Adventure

My name is Heather and this is the tenth time that I have taken part in the MS Readathon. I learned about it 2004 when I was in high school and decided to combine my love of reading with fundraising for a good cause. For the next four years, the MS Readathon was an annual event for me. From 2008 to 2019, I had a hiatus for a variety of reasons. In 2020, I resumed participating and have done so every year since.

My goal for 2025 is $600 although that may change if I surpass my target. Last year, I surprised myself by raising $880.29.

The goal is to read 10 books. Apart from fundraising for a great cause, I also like to use this chance to have a digital detox and discover new book titles that I wouldn’t otherwise read.

This year marks a record for me having read 8 new book titles. They are:
