My Mummy and Me 

(as told by Archer, aged 3)

Hi! My name is Archer and I am three!

I like trucks, FOOD, and cuddles with my Mummy.

My Mummy is the best Mummy in the whole world. She reads me books every night – all different books about dinosaurs, trucks, colours, and shapes. But sometimes she gets very tired. Her legs feel wobbly, and she says her body is being “a bit silly.” That’s because my Mummy has something called MS…

I don’t really understand what MS is… but I know it makes Mummy need to rest, and sometimes she can’t play chase with me. That makes me a bit sad. But she still smiles at me and gives me the best hugs, and I want to help her feel better 

So guess what!? I’m doing the MS Readathon!

That means I’m reading LOTS of books (with a little help from Mummy and Daddy!) to raise money to help people like my Mum. Every time I read a book, I feel like I’m giving her a big superhero hug.

My favourite book at the moment is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” (because I’m always hungry — hehe!)

I hope I can reach my fundraising goal, and that all the money raised helps make new medicines and magic things to help my Mummy feel strong
