Bowie

Hi, I’m Bowie. I’m 5 years old and in Grade Prep. This is my second year participating in the MS Readathon.

This August I'm going to read as many books as I can to raise funds for families living with MS and neurological conditions. Reading and writing my own books are some of my favourite activities. My favourite authors are Aaron Blabey, Anh Do, and Dave Pilkey. I would like to write and illustrate my own books one day for kids to read at school. I want to help families because my Pa, Bill, has Parkinson’s and it is important to me that everyone gets help like he does. I love him so much and I want other kids to have their families to love too.

Money raised from the MS Readathon will help fund vital support and services, which include Help Lines available across Australia, MS Nursing, in-home care, speech therapy and physio, Family Fun Days including resources for kids.
