Grimson is part of a 3 book series including New City and The Final Storm. It is about a city becoming a flooded zone. A group of friends survive the flood and stick together to stay alive. With their enemy's demanding jewels and sneaker waves becoming more regular and more dangerous, they find them selves making their way to dry land. This is a great series that I would absolutely recommend.
