Changing lives beyond books

For many families, reading helps build focus, confidence and imagination, but in Rachel's house, it also creates calm, connection and routine. Most importantly, it gives Rachel's two kids - Tate and Sophia -  a way to understand that reading isn’t just for themselves - it’s a way to help others, just like their mum.

Support from MS organisations has helped Rachel’s family feel less alone on their MS journey. Through events, resources and services, they’ve found community, understanding and reassurance during moments that otherwise feel isolating.

That’s what MS Readathon fundraising does - it turns reading into real
world support, helping families like Rachel's feel seen, supported and hopeful when they need it most.

"I read to help people like Daddy."
