I was hooked from the very beginning with this book. Connor and Ava's story is intense, and the push and pull, and chemistry between them is amazing. They have both have their own inner demons that they're dealing with, and things just aren't as easy as they should be for them as a couple.
Connor has his basketball, and his issues from his past, and Ava has her Mum's problems to try and handle. Both of these characters are very strong, particularly Ava. Connor is also a really lovely guy, a great person.
I like some of the secondary characters too and look forward to seeing the roles they play in the second book of this duet.
