This book is about some kids called Eliza and Johnnie who try to save their parents from going to Mars. Eliza is the oldest child and Johnnie is 5 but he is a genius because while his mum was pregnant she ate a LOT of sardines making Johnnie a genius. On the morning Mum and Dad told Johnnie and Eliza that they were going to Mars they thought it was another one of Dad's jokes but they were serious and left the next morning. So Johnnie and Eliza started planning how to get them back, they found a map with the place their rocket was taking of on it and sailed to the island. They got there with a day to spare before the rocket launched but it left early living the world puzzled. Then they got captured by the owner of the island Mr Noah and he wanted to turn them into cyborgs like he did with their parents. Johnnie and Eliza stole one of the other rockets and flew into space to catch their parents. But Mr Noah wasn't finished with them yet. He flew after them in the control centre and he caught them again and they barely escaped him in his flying car but Mr Noah set the self destruct sequence off. So Eliza opened the boot and grabbed the bomb and the explosion sent them flying towards their parents ship. Finally they boarded the ship and saw a BIN (Brain Inference Mode) on their parents. Myrt (their dog) jumped onto them an date the centipede that put the BIN in them and ate both the BINs off their parents. Now they live happily. I personally loved this book all of the disasters they faced where incredible to read about. I think people who love to read crazy stories would love this book. I also recommend reading How to survive time travel if you liked this one. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
