This is a very funny, very silly book by Terry Pratchett. It is a book that is part of his Disc World series about the wizard Rincewind and his magical suitcase with hundreds of little legs called The Luggage. In this book Rincewind gets sent to the Counterweight Continent, a mysterious and little known empire largely made of gold, to sort out a miniature civil war.
This book contains cannons, elderly barbarians, a lot of attempted poisoning, the Disc World's first tourist (Two Flower) and some very silly wizards.
I would recommend this book to teenagers because some of the jokes in this book are a bit rude and because it might be a bit confusing for younger kids. If you like wizards who can't do any magic, suitcases that eat people and a horde of elderly barbarians who have a life time experience of not dying, you will love this book.Show moreShow less
