What stood out in this story was how the main character, Gretta enjoyed Singapore, as being German with a musical talent. This explains how the story relates to the tragedy of World War II describing the prejudice and propaganda people had towards them. What I specifically enjoyed the most was when Gretta moved to a camp in New South Wales, she adapts to the life changes where she brings back the talent she had before. Show more Show less
