Last stand of dead men

I enjoyed this book and recommend the whole series. But, I hated how Derek killed off Ghastly and Shudder. Although it made a good storey line it wasn’t very enjoyable for the reader because Ghastly and Shudder were some of the best characters in the book. I feel sad that we lost Valkyrie along the way but I thought it was a good idea for the plot because Valkyrie needs to struggle more because she has everything come to her so easy. She lives the life she wants to and has a reflection to live the one that she left behind. Even though Ravel was a very likeable character I didn’t think he was a very good character and that it was a good idea to make him the traitor rather then someone else like Vex or Saracen.
