Mercy Watson is a pig. She lives in a house with Mr and Mrs Watson and she likes to eat butter on toast.
The story takes place at 52 Deckawoo Drive, Eugenia and Baby Lincoln's house. They are Mercy Watson's neighbours.
One night mercy decided to get into bed with Mr and Mrs Watson, but their bed started to fall through the floor. Mercy got out of bed to find toast because she could smell butter, Mr and Mrs Watson thought she was going to get help. Mercy followed the scent of butter to Baby and Eugenia Lincolns house and baby thought there was a monster so the sisters rang the fire brigade.
