My Hero Academia

The first My Hero Academia book was about a boy called Izuku Midoriya who wanted to be a hero but he lost all hope when he turned four and didn’t receive his quirk (superpower), his doctor said he would never get a quirk, he was quirkless. But 10 years later at the age of fourteen he comes across the greatest hero of all time, All Might, who saved him from a villain attacking him. When Izuku finds his ‘best friend’ (childhood bully) Katsuki Bakugou, being attacked and consumed by the villain who attacked him earlier. With bravery he tries to save Bakugou but fails, but All might saves them once again, and Izuku is gifted with All Mights quirk. I liked how the storyline changes because Izuku finally got a quirk from his favourite hero of all time. There is nothing I dislike about the book, it’s one of my favourites so far! I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series. Show more Show less
