“I Want a Pony” is the first book in the series “Pony Pals” by Jeanne Betancourt. Lulu, short for Lucinda, is the main character, and is staying at her grandma’s house while her dad is away in the Amazon.
This story is about Lulu finding a hurt pony named Snow White and she wants to help the pony get better. The only problem is Mr Baxter’s daughter Rema, who owns Snow White , is away at boarding school and Mr Baxter doesn’t want to pay the vet bills.
I liked the story because it had a lot of information about ponies. I also like how Lulu gets to look after Snow White while Rema is away. I didn’t like how Lulu’s friends called Rema snobby when they hadn’t even met her .
