This book was really good because Will was sent on his first mission to investigate romours of a sorcerer in a place called Grimsdell Wood. The lord of a castle Macindaw suddenly fell quite ill and suspicions were on Malhlak, The sorcerer in Grimsdell wood. Will and his life long friend Alyss then went looking for this evil sorcerer. On the way they were scared by moving lights and evil voices. They were also greeted by a 30 metre tall figure the village named the Night Warrior.
