Remarkably Ruby is a great book on 2 different sides of a friendship story.I like that it was a comic novel and it is a long book which means it kept me going for a while.
Ruby is always a background character in Terri's other books(especially when they're going to the toilet!!). Her nickname is 'Baked bean Girl' because she always is having wacky lunches, like: spicy chilli breakfast burrito, or, obviously, baked beans! What i really loved was at the end when it shows you some outtakes from the story. it shows that the girl that ruby is fighting with is her... SISTER! it also shows that most of the scenes throughout the book are cut in half. for example, Ruby had written an award-winning poem about foggy circles that she makes every morning in the window. in the outtakes, guess whos on the other side of the table? Mia, the girl that Ruby was fighting with! Remarkably Ruby is a really good book and i really enjoyed it! it was 'remarkable'!
