This is the first book of seven (?) I believe, and I've got to admit, as far as vampire stories go, this one got me... hook, line and sinker!
Tanith Frost goes to all the effort of creating the background that only some readers would think about.
What happens when a vampire is first changed? Do they struggle at all? Where does their immense strength/speed/power come from? Can vampire and werewolf powers mix/combine?
Are Fairies, Dragons, Werewolves or beings that created THOSE beings still around, or even real? I'm hooked! (Namely bc I'm ONE of those thinkers!) Books 2-7 are on my list!!!!Show moreShow less
