Joan Wilder is a romance novelist. She never really felt that she fit in very well, and was unsocial. One day, her outgoing sister, Elaine, calls her, telling her that she’s been kidnapped and will be freed if Joan goes to the men that kidnapped her and gives them an old map that was sent to her by Elaine’s husband before he died. She packs right away but accidentally goes on the wrong bus, taking her to a jungle where she pays a man called Jack Colton, to take her to safety and a telephone. Will she make it to her sister in time before it is too late? Is Jack really as trustworthy as she thinks he is? Read the book or watch the movie to find out.Show moreShow less
