This was my first experience with mafia romance, and all I can say is WOW. I have been missing out! I love the darkness, the possessive emotions of the characters, all the scheming and lying, and the spice ??
This was a serious rollercoaster of emotions, in one breath everything is bliss, and in the next the rug has been pulled out from under it all. And that plot twist in the first book! Holy gods. I did not see that coming. It’s amazing how everything clicks into place when one teeny piece of information is revealed.
This author did an amazing job at expressing the feelings of the characters, building tension for the plot, and creating a dark underworld for the characters.
