'We all need saving really' - Michael, page 376

This book covers the confusing years of highschool - the worst. How are you meant to look out for others when you, yourself, are falling apart? How are you meant to be a good friend when you don’t know how to be nice to yourself? Sometimes emotions get in the way. Sometimes they hurt so bad you want to throw up. They hurt so bad everyone hates you, and you hate them.

This book is written so well! I read the first chapter and it felt so real. It felt like I was Tori. I felt her emotions. I understood her struggles. The book was written in a way that it was almost human, the thought processes scattered. The emotions confusing. Every terrible thought, every description written out perfectly. Not too detailed, just right - even the conversations were written out as if you were having an everyday conversation. The pauses, that additional yeahs, ums and yeah nahs. Everything felt like a real life situation.

I found myself reading large chunks, unable to put the book down. The chapters were small, easy to read and I would get lost how many chapters and pages I would read. I hated putting the book down. Going into my recommended pile, and personal book of fame. Love love love this book.
