Such a beautiful world full of magic with exceptional writing! I love a magic system that is also based in science!!

This book no doubt gave me dark academia “Now You See Me” movie vibes.
The characters were deeply written and drove the plot immensely. It was cool to see different aspects of the story played from different character perspectives and delve into their own types of magic.
Without giving too much away, I will admit the book started slow and struggled to draw me in originally but, believe me, stick with it.
The last ‘part’ of the book was a real mind twist. But honestly WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED? I NEED ANSWERS!
So many tory turns, twists and rollercoasters that will make you keep reading, even if you just want to sleep aha.
I will not that, I would suggest this as more New Adult, than Young Adult, as it explore the characters through college age and above and explore very adult concerns
