The Austere Academy

I adore the way that mysterious mr Snicket integrates himself so closely into his books. He writes in such a way that what is happening in the book is happening right here. The injustice of this particular book, though creatively spiteful and devious, made me chuckle inside. A must read for mystery lovers. Awsome book. Show more Show less

This book was enjoyable because it was funny and kept me interested. It is about 3 orphan siblings who go of to Boarding School and but there is a treacherous villan disguised as the gym teacher to try to steal their huge fortune. The siblings are forced to run laps of a luminous circle every night until the sun rises. Weekends are still school days at this school. I would highly recomnend this book. Show more Show less
