This is the third issue of The Avant Guards. It has nice pictures and my favourite two characters are Tiffany, a really smart girl who set up a coven on campus, and Jay, a non-binary artist who loves basket ball.
In this issue, Allie, Charlie’s little sister, joins the team and causes Charlie to have anxiety about the future games which makes Liv, Charlie’s girlfriend, very mad. Firstly because she didn’t know Charlie had a sister and secondly because Charlie was missing out on practices. Also, Nicole finally tells her parents that she wants to be comedian.
I like how they put a summery of all of the teams they play against, at the end of the book: The Jetts, The Hormones, Cuddly Retrivers, The Selfies whom they win against in this issue, The Baristas, Signals and Pick n Rolls.Show moreShow less
