The Black Stallion

The Black Stallion was on a ship with Alec and the ship went down and they saved themselves out of the water. When they got back home they went over to Henry's house to put the Black in his stall next to Napoleon's stall. A long time after that they got into the race with Cyclone and Sun Raider. The Black was called The Mystery Horse. After the race they found out The Black won the race. Show more Show less

I didn't like this book. It describes the friendship of a horse and it's boy through struggle to victory. I didn't enjoy the amount of unneeded description and the frankly boring theme. The first half describing the shipwreck wasn't too bad and I enjoyed that part, however everything after that was pretty boring and included lots of unneeded plotline. If you generally like horse stories this may be more enjoyable, but for me it was quite dry and I definitely wouldn't read it again. Show more Show less
