Hello Everyone and welcome to Libbi’s Book Nook (LBN). I have a review for YOU...because you know why? I finished a book! It’s called The Day the Lies Began by Sunshine Coast author Kylie Kaden.
Set loosely in the QLD Sunny Coast region, it’s about a small coastal town, the people within that town and valuable lessons taught about lies and how they fester in your soul until the truth comes out and blows everything up! This maybe slightly exaggerated however it touches on many issues in society like domestic violence, depression, child abuse, teenage pregnancy, LIES, murder, more LIES, love and devotion...rather full on when you list it out but it’s an easy read and enough in it to keep you interested throughout your journey with character Abbie and friends. The ending however was rather Disney like and everyone had a happy ending - how they got away with what they did I don’t know. I give this book 3/5 LBN stars ? ? ?Show moreShow less
