The Hunger Games - Mockingjay

This book is the last one in The Hunger Games series, and continuous looking at Katniss’ rescue from the Quarter Quell. She awakens to find herself underneath the supposed destroyed District 13. Katniss then learns about a secret rebellion, one that would require her help to lead and guide all the Districts to overthrow the Capitol. Now that her home, District 12, has been destroyed, she is filled with determination to be the best leader she can be. At the same time, her love interest Peeta, is now held captive and is completely brainwashed into thinking Katniss is the enemy. The book is very engaging as it is written in first person. This allows the reader to understand Katniss’ feelings and perspectives throughout the whole book, as her thoughts and feelings are described in detail. Show more Show less
