In the 1300s, there were dozens of port ships that sent goods to each other and did not realize that there were invisible germs that were being carried from the workmen. Soon the germs spread quickly and the symptoms only showed 3 days later, the symptoms were that there were black dots all over the person's skin and it contained poisoned pus and blood. Sanitizing did not help. People fled from towns to escape and not many peasants were there to help farm, so crops were left unplanted or unharvested. A lot of years after, Alexander Fleming had found the cure to the Black Death, using a plant mold, and was awarded a Nobel Prize. Show more Show less
