The Secret Puppy

This book is about a little girl and her family who go on a vacation. The little girl wants a puppy of her own but her parents are against her having one as they think she won't look after it and they don't have a lot of room. While on vacation, the little girl helps look after some puppies. She becomes very attached to one little puppy and sneaks him away to her tent. She returns the puppy the next morning to the owner and says that the puppy got out. The little girl's parents stop her from having contact with the puppy because she has got to attached. The puppy digs its way out of his garden and follows the river bank to find the little girl. There has been a lot of rain and the river is rising, the puppy saves the little girl and her family from the flooded river edge and then saves the rest of the campsite. Show more Show less
