This book is about a family who adopt a dog and move to a new town.They love this dog very much but over a period of time they find that they are not capable of fully looking after this puppy.There is a family that just lost their dog and are looking for a new dog for the company.The child in this family feels a real bond with that dog and notices that they were struggling to look after the puppy.She says that on the way home from the play-date she had with the child in that family inside while the children were playing the adult were talking about that.The parents said that they said they were more than capable to look after the puppy.they adopt the puppy and that is the end of the book.This book is great and I recommend this book to any one that is an animal lover.
