The scorch trials

Again this was a let down for me, it just didn’t live up to my standards of what I thought this series would be. I hate comparing books to movies especially when they came first, but it’s hard when I loved the movies and I didn’t love this book.

Let’s start with the characters I felt like they weren’t fleshed out and they made it very hard for me to care about them. Thomas annoyed me, he just didn’t get anything that was happening, when he should have been able to, (in my opinion) The plot was all over the place and didn’t keep me engaged. The atmosphere was what made this book a 3 ⭐️ and not a 2 ⭐️ it was very well done and I liked being in the world Dashner created. Show more Show less
