Natalie Vos is out of a prestigious job as well as a fiancé. Now at home on the wine farm where she grew up, she’s drowning her sorrows while thinking of a way ahead. Deciding to take matters into her own hands, Natalie contacts some old colleagues in the business world so that she can start her own company. All she now needs is money to start it – only her inheritance is stuck in a binding legal document that states she can only get the money if she is married.
August Cates is a bit of a flop as a winemaker. He started the vineyard as a legacy to his best friend who had this dream of owning a wine farm. No bank will loan him money to help him revive the farm for he has no standing in the community or no good financial history to back him.
Enter Natalie. August can’t stand her at all, but with her name next to his, he might just get the loan he needs to survive on the farm. And Natalie needs him too so she can start her business with her inheritance from her dad. How bad can it really be to be married for a few weeks just till they both get what they wanted?
My thoughts: I was hesitant to read this one since I didn’t enjoy Secretly Yours. This one was definitely an improvement for me. This is the perfect book if you want to read a quick enemies-to-lovers romance story where you can predict the end before you open the book. Show more Show less
