Who I recommend this book to: I recommend this book to fans of Erin Hunter’s Warriors book series. This book tells the tale of one of Riverclans leaders and her life from kit hood all the way to the day she helped drive out Scourge.
Comments: There are only two reasons that this book didn’t get a full five stars. Sometimes the book would say something that didn’t make sense. Usually this error wouldn’t bother me but the fact that Erin called a warrior cat named Stonefur ‘Stormfur’ did bother me. The second reason is because of some of the punctuation. Sometimes I would be reading one of the conversations and see that the end of someone’s speech there wouldn’t be any ending quotation marks. Other than that the story was absolutely amazing. The storyline was easy to understand and follow when we met some of Leopardstar’s friends. There are some sad parts when characters die but when that does happen it’s still kid friendly. The emotive language used is outstanding and I could feel what Leopardstar might be feeling in that moment. Seeing that it’s a super edition it doesn’t have to be read in a particular order but it makes more sense if you read the series it’s in. So these are my reasons for giving this book 4.5 stars.Show moreShow less
