Heartwarming story of friendship and determination.
beautifully illustrated.
Zog is the biggest Dragon in Madam Dragon's school and is desperate to win a golden star!

Zog is beautifully and vividly illustrated making it an engaging picture book for young readers. The story line itself has great rhythm and rhyme and offers repetition in its structure making it equally as rich of a text for older readers. Children follow Zog in his efforts to succeed in developing new Dragon-skills and serves as a great story to discuss concepts like resilience, trying your best, friendship and accepting help. Zog is also a great story for children, offering an alternative view of traditional gender roles and mythical/fantasy narratives in an effective, empowering and age appropriate way.

Zog is a family favourite and a story we hope you'll enjoy as much as we do.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was very entertaining and funny. I especially liked the part where Zog captured princess Pearl. I also liked the end of the story, when they became the flying doctors. Show more Show less
A wonderful story of a princess who doesn't want to be a princess become friends with a dragon who doesn't want to be a dragon.
I love this book and how it rhymes. Sometimes I read it in a singsong voice!
I think Julia is a great author and does really well entertaining kids. All her books are amazing and the illustrations are equally as great.
Love this book it shows that even though you might not be good at everything when you practise and practise you can do anything. Great story about friendship too
