For all our friends and family living with Multiple Sclerosis.

During the month of August, myself, M, and C, reckon we can collectively read 100+ books.

Every book the kiddos and I read in the month of August, will be an opportunity for us to promote the good amazing work that MS Australia does, and opportunity to encourage friends, family, random librarians, and more, to donate to this amazing not-for-profiit.

Our friends and family living with MS, encourage you to donate.  The support (resources, community) and research (towards better treatments and a cure) that MS Australia provides is so important.

So please, regardless of how many books we read, donate!  In fact, those who know me well, know that I know that extrinsic motivators don't work. And that I cringe hard at extrinsic motivators. So forget about the books and the reading, and just donate!  I mean, we will read books anyway, because we already read books and like reading books, but don't donate because we are reading books.  Donate because you know the cause and the organisation, or because you've just looked up the cause and organisation, and you want to help out those living with MS.

And if you are someone who is still adamant that extrinsic motivators are a necessity in life, I definitely accept your donations too!!  And I appreciate your efforts to try to motivate me and the kids.  Being cheered on feels nice, no lie.   But also,  I'm not turning down any donations, whatever reasoning behind them.

In fact, donate because you hate us.  Donate because you have joined a conspiracy theorist cult that believes coffee cups will become sentient and summon the moonrock miners to come collect them all, and take them back to the moon, if MS is not cured.  Donate because you are a kid that has gained sneaky possession of your parent's phone, and have come across this fun colourful page.  Embrace your parent's saved card details, you delightful toddler you.

Expect to hear all about our books, and the work MS Australia does, during August, folks!
